Eric D. Mason PT graduated from Florida International University's School of Allied Health Professions in 1993, after earning music degrees from the Jamaica School of Music and the University of North Florida. He began his career as a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami where he worked in outpatient, inpatient rehab, neonatal intensive care, and acute care settings. After relocating to Jacksonville, Florida, he was employed by Baptist-St. Vincent's Medical Center as Rehab Manager of Fleet Landing Health Center, an assisted living and skilled nursing facility. In addition to his duties as manager and primary treating therapist, he also provided PRN physical therapy services to the hospital's pediatric, acute care, and home health divisions. After working in an outpatient rehab and wellness center in New Smryna beach for two years, he relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida where he divides his time between Vital Motion Rehabilitation & Wellness and an active music career. He has extensive training in balance and vestibular rehabilitation, fall prevention, back injury prevention and treatment, manual techniques, sports specific rehab, and interventions for a variety of geriatric issues including osteoporosis, unsteady gait, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, joint replacement, and arthritis.
