| The
Jazz group Segue was founded in 1996 by Al Reshard, Elisha Parris, Clay
Benjamin, Scott Rademacher, Richard Johnson, and the newest member Eric
Mason.
Using their rich and diverse blend of musical backgrounds, Segue wrote, produced and recorded their first CD "Tell Ya in a Second". This project encapsulates music influenced by Jazz, R&B, Gospel, and Latin to produce a plethora of sound which is guaranteed to captivate the listener. Tell Ya in a Second features a guest appearance by world renowned bassist Victor Wooten and has also received favorable reviews from various critics and industry peers such as Kirk Whalum. To date Segue Has performed at various concerts hosted by WFSJ smooth Jazz and opened for International artists such as Keiko Matsui, Richard Smith, and Joshua Redman With the release of Tell Ya In a Second Segue intends to set themselves among the heavy weights and continue to produce new and challenging music for a long time to come. |
